Here is a Video from 1995 that I feel will help clear up the rumors that people spread about training Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do at the Insanto Academy. I have trained Jeet Kune Do under Instructors that Guro Dan certified since 1995. I have logged over 100 hours of seminars that Guro has taught. I have heard the same story everytime that he talks about JKD and his training methods and curriculuum.
I don’t know where people get their information from about him mixing Jeet Kune Do with other arts. He may do this in Seminars but he clearly states that this is JKD, this is Thai Boxing etc. I guess if you get your information from seminars only and not from the Inosanto Academy this is where the misunderstanding could come from.
This video also backs up my previous entry of Jeet Kune Do is just a name.
